Easy Grilled Peaches

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 4 ripe peaches
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Sliced almonds, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine vanilla extract, almond extract, and brown sugar.
  2. Cut the peaches in half and remove pits. Toss peaches in sugar mixture; let the peaches sit for 15 minutes while you preheat the grill to medium-high.
  3. Grill peaches skin side down until skin is slightly charred, about 3 minutes. Turn each peach over and grill until they are golden and marked.
  4. Divide the peaches among 4 bowls and serve with vanilla ice cream. Garnish with toasted almonds, if desired.
