Our popular in-store bakeries set us apart from other supermarkets. While most bakeries bring in frozen, pre-made products, we do things differently. You'll find that a lot of our bakery products are still made the old-fashioned way: from scratch.
We know; it's a little strange nowadays to see a bakery begin with recipes that include ingredients like flour, sugar and butter, but that's the way we are: a little different and a little better. If you don't think that baking from scratch makes a difference, we invite you to come in and try one or our famous scratch donuts. We guarantee that you have never had a better donut. Ever. If you're still not convinced about our made-from-scratch philosophy, then come into any of our stores between 4 and 5 pm, and take home a hot loaf of French bread, freshly baked and pulled out of the oven just minutes before you enjoy it. We think you'll agree that baking from scratch is worth the extra time!
