Watermelon Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1/2 seedless watermelon
  • 3 bottles rose, chilled, 750 ml each
  • 1 bottle Moscato, chilled, 350 ml
  • 1 lime, sliced into rounds, for garnish

Directions

  1. Wash the outside of the watermelon. Cut the watermelon into thick wheels. Then cut the wheels in half horizontally. Then cut those into thick chunks.
  2. Transfer the chunks to a large pitcher. Pour the bottles of rose into the pitcher.
  3. Place the pitcher into the refrigerator to chill for 24 hours.
  4. When ready to serve, pour in the chilled Moscato and gently stir.
  5. Pour the sangria into tall glasses. Use tongs to place a few watermelon pieces in each glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
