Ingredients
- 1 C chopped onion
- 1 C chopped celery
- 1/2 C dried tart cherries
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts
- 1 T chopped fresh thyme (or 1 tsp. dried)
- 1 T chopped fresh marjoram (or 1 tsp. dried)
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 T margarine
- 3 C cooked rice
Directions
Add rice; mix well. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
Put onion, celery, cherries, walnuts, thyme, marjoram, pepper and margarine in a large nonstick skillet. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender; stir occasionally.
