Services Bristlecone Animal Aid Rescue And Xpress is a 501(c)3 that is based in White Pine County, Nevada and is dedicated to helping animals in need through one of our various assistance programs while we work towards our ultimate goal of building an actual animal shelter. Our programs include transporting animals in need (mostly from Ely Animal Control) to no-kill shelters to prevent euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals due to lack of space, our foster & adopt program to take in, spay/neuter/vaccinate/vet and care for animals in need until we can find them suitable homes, our lost & found pet networking program to help find missing pets and reunite found pets with their owners, our rehoming network program to help owners rehome their animals before taking them to Ely Animal Control, our ownerless animal emergency vet care program which pays for the cost of needed vet care for homeless/stray sick or injured animals that are either found or taken to Ely Animal Control and our pet food assistance program which provides food to owners in need when they need a little temporary assistance feeding their pets. BAARX also works to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering and being a responsible pet owner. We rely solely on donations and are strictly volunteer based with no paid positions
