Watermelon Lime Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 cups cubed fresh watermelon

Directions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to medium heat. Bring sugar water mixture to a boil. Continually stir. (Should create a syrup) Remove from heat to cool.
  2. Combine lime juice, watermelon and syrup in a blender. Blend ingredients until smooth.
  3. If you have an ice cream machine, pour mixture into machine and let it work. If you donâ??t have an ice cream machine, pour mixture into a rimmed cookie sheet and place in the freezer. After frozen, break pieces into small chunks and place in the blender. Blend until smooth. (Repeat process if not to desired softness)
  4. Spoon sorbet into serving bowls and enjoy.
