Sauteed Broccolini with Garlic & Ginger

SERVES 4

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • ¼ teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound broccolini, trimmed
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sweet rice wine
  • ¼ cup water

Directions

  1. Set a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to skillet and heat.
  2. Add pepper and ginger; saute 30 seconds.
  3. Add garlic; saute 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccolini and salt; saute 2 minutes.
  5. Add sweet rice wine and water; cover and cook over low heat until tender, about 10 minutes.
